It’s beginner friendly and looks great and has a pretty low skill floor but incredibly high skill ceiling. GBVS is a lot bigger in playerbase but it’s more like SF with an anime skin rather than other anime fighters with airdashing, filthy mix and oki, and long combos (GBVS still has its own respective BS tho). Also DLC is 100% free cause Type Moon gets a ton of money from FGO. It’s not the most populated game (like you probably won’t find a lot of ranked matches) but the community is dedicated and people are always down to play/help out. Characters are pretty kitted and combos are really fun to perform while also being incredibly accessible.

Melty is more like your regular 2D anime fighter with its own twist on things. Melty Blood Type Lumina and GBVS are probably your best bet.
